Kholoud’s first assignment in the Coast Guard was aboard the USCGC Dallas (WHEC-716) which was homeported in Charleston, SC. The Dallas was decommisioned in 2012 and we had the privilge of attending the ceremony where Kholoud was able to stand alongside current and past sailors who had served aboard the ship.

Our Wedding ceremony was held in 2007 at a gorgeous wedding chapel in Charleston and took pictures at the Charleston battery – a waterfront area with beautiful views of the Charleston harbor and the historic downtown.

We lived in Charleston, SC for a second time in 2013 where we captured this great video of Aasi
